If there were a rating higher than "excellent," we would give it for this hotel. The young couple who own and operate the hotel are delightful and go out of their way to do anything they can to help you. The room was immaculate and, though small (as are most in Europe), was as comfortable as any we've stayed in. The furnishings were in excellent condition, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was dark and very quiet at night.. The immediate location is unremarkable, but the lovely town of Oignt is nearby, with good restaurants and beautiful views.

everything was fantastic during 1 day, loved its quiet and unbeatable location just next door to legny, the beaujolais, and the outskirts of the village. i had pleasant days staying at this great budget hotel.

The hotel was clean and featured top-class staff. the comfortable beds enhanced the overall experience. Its quiet location was absolutely perfect for exploring the commercial area, with a short walk leading to a nearby shopping district in Legny, France, as well as the outskirts of the village. Royal William Yard was conveniently only 2 km away from the hotel.

The breakfast is a little expensive for a large family...perhaps it could be reduced for children who eat less ??

This was originally meant to be a 1 night transit stop but we stayed an extra night because we liked it so much. The husband and wife owner/operators were lovely and extremely helpful throughout our stay. They gave us several recommendations and arranged bookings for some great local restuarants and wineries which we loved. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, shower was fantastic (seriously hard to find a good shower in Europe with continous hot water that doesn't go hot/cold constantly), we had a good wifi connection in the room. Breakfast was the same as you get anywhere in France but croissants were nice and frresh plus staff made a good coffee on request. A little out of Lyon (20-30 min drive) but there is a small town close by that has anything you need (4-5 min drive) and being in a quiet area was part of it's charm. Great stay, highly recommend staying here as good value and much better than some of the 3 & 4 star hotels we have stayed at throughout Europe.

I keep coming back to this charming hotel. The staff found my forgotten belongings during my first stay. It has all I need: Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, bar, restaurant, flat-screen TV. Perfect for my holiday.
